Bar reopening delayed

After a meeting yesterday night
the Yum Boi Boi Team decided that the bar reopening
have to be delayed.
Times in Chiang Mai are still as bad as they could be.
Our headhunters didn´t announce any progress yet
and so we´re still hunting for staff.
Most of our boys went home to their villages
and now they don´t believe there could be any improvement.
Also we´re quite sceptical,
but we want at least give it a try.

The reopening of Yum Boi Boi Bar is now scheduled for Tuesday the 19.10.2009,
but not by 100 %. Please watch out for further announcements

Governor Election Chiang Mai Bars Closed

Just to give the very few people, which seems to go out at night,
a warning. At Sunday the 4. October 2009 the governor election
will take part in Chiang Mai.
That means there is a strict bann on selling alcohol
from Saturday Night 24:00 h until Sunday 24:00 h.
Most of the entertainment places will be closed on Sunday 4.10.2009.
Just a short message about Yum Boi Boi:
We´re planning to reopen at 6.10.2009.
At the moment we´re recruiting new staff,
which isn´t easy in the ghost town of Chiang Mai.
We´ve been sending out a few headhunters to the villages.
On Friday night this week,
we will finally decide, what day we will reopen Yum Boi Boi.
For sure there will be a few changes.
Look out for our announcement on Friday 2.10.2009.

Whispering Softly Bye Bye

What could we say at that grim times, then whispering softly bye bye.
After a meeting with our whole crew,
we had to decide to close Yum Boi Boi Bar.
We had to pull the emergency brake !
Within 7 days we had 2 single visitors.
We´re not even able to pay the costs for electricity from the income
and our whole, still remaining staff
is annoyed to sit in an empty place
and wasting time, waiting on not arriving customers.
Sad…very sad !
People in Chiang Mai seem to support highly criminal, Mafia reigned, places,
they seem to enjoy to be cheated.
Up to them !!!
Yum Boi Boi had to pull the emergency brake
and the bar will be closed until the beginning of October.

Yum Boi Boi will reopen at the beginning of October 2009,
we will have a look what´s going on then.
As we still have a lot of daily work,
even then we will not play around.
It will be the decision of the people in Chiang Mai,
if the bar project will go on or will be busted.
